About Riverside Consulting

What we can offer you

what we offer

Our main areas of expertise are;

Fundraising and bid writing

  • We have significant experience in our team to provide bid writing and bid management service for organisations in the public, private or voluntary sectors.
  • We produce high quality work and do not engage freelance support.
  • We apply best practice to bids and proposals. Our key bid professionals Jeffrey Warren and Iain Kay are members of appropriate professional organisations.
  • Our areas of core knowledge and expertise with bids reflect the experience and background of our membership.

Media and PR work

The Riverside Consulting CIC Media and PR consultancy specialises in training, support, guidance and designing bespoke campaigns for clients in the community and voluntary sectors and social enterprises.

The majority of our work focusses on getting maximum exposure for a campaign while working with minimal budgets. Our Media work is led by Barbara McClennan who has over 40 years experience in the fields of journalism, public relations, communications and media management

Education and Development Training for organisations and individuals

Riverside Consulting CIC is a registered centre for a range of NOCN and ONE Awards for adults from Entry through to Level 3.

Travel planning and access to work
We provide the TravelRight travel planning service within the Go Smarter Northumberland transport programme encouraging workless individuals and school leavers to plan and undertake sustainable public transport solutions to engaging with work or learning.  Through this we contribute to Go Smarter’s targets to reduce carbon footprints from commuting.

Our travel planning service is a gateway for other travel services including discounted tickets, cycle and scooter hire and travel support ‘buddies’.

Supporting ways of achieving the effective rehabilitation of offenders

All the members of Riverside Consulting CIC have knowledge and experience of working with people in the criminal justice system including young offenders, adult offenders and people identified at a high risk of offending.

We were a founder member of a consortium that worked with community and voluntary organisations in the North East to prepare delivery submissions to the National Offender Management Service (NOMS) in 2014 as part of significant reforms as to how criminal justice and rehabilitation services are delivered in England and Wales. That consortium is now known as Contract North and is chaired by Jeffrey Warren. It is looking currently to bid for opportunities across the North East region.

Together members of Riverside Consulting CIC offer:

  • Local Knowledge
  • Regional networks
  • National insight
  • International perspectives
